Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She was awarded the best actress award for her performance in Nashville The 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 in which she portrayed Claudia Shepard. The year 2015 saw her played the role of Jerrica Jem for the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up on Lake Mary Florida. She has a sister called Ally. Aubrey performed at the Orlando Repertory Theatre in her young age for about 10 years. Her speech was the valedictory of her school during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to allow her in for an additional entry after she was cast in "Nashville". Peeples played a role as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She appeared in the television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009), and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major character in The Good Mother, a Nashville second season drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire has ranked Peeples in the top spot on its list of best actors under the age of twenty-one in September 2014.
